We offer a range of services if you need help to customise your map. Our rates are competitive and we will waive the price of the base map itself if you have already purchased one.

Editing colours

See a short video showing how you can quickly change map colours using Illustrator →

Maproom swatches

In Illustrator the embedded Maproom swatches offer a useful starting point for altering colours. (You can of course use any other colours you want!)

Advanced colour editing notes

Your files are supplied in RGB colour mode without any colour profile attached in their opening state.

Most of the Maproom swatches have CMYK values that work with both digital and print output.

If your map is destined for CMYK printing, we recommend you convert the file to CMYK colour mode, use the CMYK black and greys swatch palette for any black text, and set the black text to overprint.

See also the outputting for print advice.
