How to use the Quick Select tools
Select colours and tap individual postcode districts
Select colours from the key palette on the left and tap the map to colour individual postcode districts
Fly-zoom to locate any postcode
Tap any postcode name in the right-hand panel list to rapidly fly-zoom to its location on the map. You can also search for 1.7 million full postcodes using the general search box (not available on demo).
Colour mass areas from the panel boxes
Nested postcodes allow effortless switching between areas and districts. Simply tap an area box in the panel on the right to colour all of its nested districts in one go.
Toggle colours on and off
Remove or change colours by tapping either the map or side panel boxes one more time
Edit the map title and key labels
Replace the “editable label” text with your own captions
Drag key items to reorder
Each key line has dots which are “handles” for dragging them to another position as you build your key
Colour palettes
Open key options for dozens more colours including heat map shades
Key visibility
Tidy your key by tapping the options to only show edited labels or only show colours that you have used on the map. Or hide the key altogether if it’s not relevant.
Save and export
(Not available on demo) Subscribers can save their maps and export spreadsheets with their postcodes and colours in rgba format. Spreadsheets can be used for more advanced bespoke mapping.
